It's amazing, I was just thinking the other day that the DS could really use a GTA game (Not like gta advanced, mind you) to really be perfect and I came across with by random today. It's so sick with it.

No, the DS is for kiddies games like Mario. If it has to be on a portable platform it should be on the PSP.

PSP got it's shot at GTA. Besides, saying DS is solely for kiddie games is quite sterotypical. DS is funner then PSP cause it's different. If I want to get into a hard core shooting game then I'm gonna play it on my PS3 thanks.

I agree with Melt. PSP seems more mature for it and it's had an older audience since release.

PSP owners have the ability to play GTA on their handheld anytime they want.

Nintendo also got its shot at GTA.
It's not a stereotype, it's true. What other mature games are there? Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Brain Training? Sudoku? Right.
"Funner" kind of describes the audience the DS is meant for.
Good for you.

Gamebow got it's 2d shot at gta, nintendo has yet to release a 3d version. M rated games, I don't know, they do have resident evil, they also have call of duty,, james bond, but those are rated at t I believe. Regardless of the fact, the rating can be based on how graphic the content is displayed as. Aside from that fact, "Mario" is one of the best game franchises ever created and enjoyed by more then just "kiddies". Shooting games are not for everyone, so why would there be a limit to what a company produces?

More fun? Seriously, if someone plays the psp to the extent of seriousness as one would play on a console, their missing out on quite a lot. As I said before, If I want to play playstation, I'll play my PS3. Yet I would not find a console with a touch screen. If I want something more unique, the DS offers it as apose to a piece of crap control scheme (nub of an analog stick?) on a little adaption to the sony series.

No details. All we know is it'll be running on a different engine to GTA4, which means no RAGE graphics or Euphoria physics, which may mean its another top-down shooter like GTA Advance and the classic GTAs, but like I said, we don't know.

Um, to be quite honest, I was a Nintendo fanboy for the longest time. Now I see consoles as being overrated and there's to much hype around them.
(aka: PC gamer)

I'm not saying a GTA game should not be brought to the DS. But what I am saying, is that most of Nintendo's games are not known for being violent and vulgar but for being rated E for Everyone.

What I don't understand is why people who usually complain that Nintendo only has "kiddie" games are now completely against the idea of Nintendo trying to bring more mature options to the table.
