Any way for a script to access the server time?

I'm trying to add a universal countdown to my board, but it requires PHP to access the server time and it doesn't look like IF allows PHP script into the wrappers. Is there any other way of getting the server time off of IF?

I'm at a loss with JavaScript but you might be able to use client side JavaScript.

A Google search gave me a topic mentioning runat server, http://www.programmingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=25629 and another mentioning the use of cold fusion, http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-9285.html

I think the runat server side javascript relies on ASP, so it doesn't work when the server pages are using PHP.

I'm not familiar with Cold Fusion at all, but I'm wondering if it would work in combination with PHP either...

Thanks, though.
