To add a custom banner to your board navigate to your AdminCP - Skinning & Styles - Images. In the Logo box, at the top, you will see: <img src='http://i1.ifrm.com/style_images/<#IMG_DIR#>/logo4.gif' alt='' border='0' />. Replace http://i1.ifrm.com/style_images/<#IMG_DIR#>/logo4.gif with a link to your own image that you have hosted. To the right will be a small checkbox, give this a check then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Submit. Do note that this will be required twice, IF has some first-time-submit bug. If you wish to learn how to skin for IF, the documentation is a good place to start. You may, however, wish to utilise the Board Directory for many pre-made skins. |

Two choices. Choice the first: Use image editing software to place the text onto the image itself, save and re-upload. The second would involve some nifty CSS to position the text, so if you're up for it I can post a little guide.

This uses mostly default information, and some editing is required on your end. In your AdminCP navigate to Skinning & Styles - Images and add your text to the logo box, removing all other content. Then, navigate to Skinning & Styles - Manage Style Sheets and once there look for something similar to: Swap this with: Then:
If you need help post a link to your image and I'll play about with it. ![]() To increase the margins look in the CSS for something similar to: Increase 30px to suit. |

You could setup an application or forum for them to apply in. That depends on how you'd like to set "leaders" and "high council" members. However, the easiest way is to probably place them in a new user group. |
