I have created an RPG and need to customize my player's Profiles so that they can imput things such as Breed, Species, etc, each with a white text box for imputing info like the one where you put "topic tittle" and such, when you post. There are already things such as Interests, Website URL, Your Location, etc where you can imput your info. But I need to be able to add more things to this list.

How?

The last two scripts require administration access to your board, so you would have to do that.

The second script just enables you to edit the name of the custom profile field, which users may then fill out the field as they wish.

<script>
/* Custom Profile Field System
By Godkillah
Phantom-designs.net */

var CustomFieldName='Gender' //Custom profile field name
var CustomFieldValue='Private' //Default value of the field

</script><script src='http://i1.ifrm.com/9764/158/upload/p3904241.ibf'></script>

I still do not understand where to imput any of those codes.

I'm sorry if I'm troubling you, but I don't understand this. I'm used to a lot of coding and stuff but this is new for me and I don't understand how to do this, still :/

I am the administrator of my board if that helps any.

Admin CP Posted Image Skinning & Styles Posted Image Board Wrappers

If, for instance, you wanted to add the "custom profile field" code to your board, you would copy and paste the following code to the Footer wrapper.
Code:

<script>
/* Custom Profile Field System
By Godkillah
Phantom-designs.net */

var CustomFieldName='Gender' //Custom profile field name
var CustomFieldValue='Private' //Default value of the field

</script><script src='http://i1.ifrm.com/9764/158/upload/p3904241.ibf'></script>

This is where I want the new fields to appear. I entered the code you gave me into the FOOTER field, and then checked my board. Nothing changed, for some reason it isn't working. Your sure thats the code I use and the place I put it, to get new fields in every member's Profile that they can fill out?

Yes, that is the code, and yes, it goes in the Footer wrapper. After testing it on my test board, I noticed that it just partially works though; the fields display accordingly, but not in the "Edit Profile info" area. I suggest giving one of the other three codes a shot.

Placement instructions were added to each topic, by the way.

Oh, it's OK. It took me awhile to get used to most functions and features on InvisionFree, and coding in general. Once you get the hang of things, it's pretty easy to accomplish what you want.

Feel free to post here or PM me if you need further help with these codes.
