Go to your Admin CP, "Users and Groups", "Ban Settings", and then take out all of the IPs that are banned to clear the list and hit "Update the ban filters" Their IP addresses might be banned. |

Just so FCDM knows what route to take: "You do not have permission to view this board" would be the error message that appears when that option is ticked to No, Lone Stranger. It's very doubtful he would accidentally ban 70% of his users IP addresses, Silver Surfer.

I realized that, that's why I said to make sure that it was checked to yes and not no. If it were checked to no, then it would disallow ALL guests to not view the board. (Something I could get around easily.) As for the IP ban, some internet hosts use the same IP for several people, so if they banned a few IP's from, say, AOL, it might have banned several different people since AOL uses that system. (Highly unlikely this is the case.) I suggest doing it in this order: 1. Make sure that the "Can view board" for guests is checked to "yes" 2. If the above is set to yes, then remove all of the IP bans you have set. (Save the contents to a notepad first, though, and readd them later one at a time making sure that there is no space between each.) |

If the suggested changes above didn't allow members to login normally, then I suggest sending in a support ticket, where the IF staff can assist you with your problem. |
