Anyways, ontopic, iTunes 8 is seriously pissing me off. I've encountered numerous graphical glitches, playback stutters when simply scrolling through a webpage (or even doing something else in iTunes), and it's noticeably slower than iTunes 7. I know Apple doesn't bother to polish the Windows version like the OSX one, but this is disgraceful.
Really? I find it noticeably quicker and less resource hogging than 7 (although still uses more resources that it should.)

And as for Genius I've had good playlists made around Flurescent Adolescent - Arctic Monkeys, Just - Radiohead and Unravel - Bjork so far ...others have been hit or miss, like Closer - NIN, but that was partially because I have not many songs like it. :P

Oh no. I just found out you can't convert files from specific settings. The preference has gone completely. :(

And yeah, you can make ringtones in iTunes only if you have an iPhone though.
actually i have a SE and i made my own ringtone with itunes. play the track and record it into garageband using the built in speaker. then crop out the 20-30 second clip you want and save it as a .mp3, upload to your phone with a memory card or bluetooth and it should work fine.
