You know, what might be happening is that the link that you used does not allow linking to other sites. Basically, when people link images from other sites, it does something to their bandwidth, so, to prevent that, they disable off-site linking. Try saving the image to your desktop and then uploading it to a site like Photobucket or Imageshack. If that doesn't work, then I would suggest resizing it before uploading it. OH! If you're already using an imaging hosting site, then try uploading it directly from your computer with the Upload a new image from your computer feature and see if that works. ...speaking of avatars, is there anyway to add custom avatars from the selection screen? |

At the moment, you are using ImageShack's "Show image to friends" linking option. In order to use the link as your avatar, you need to copy the direct link, which is found on the image's page as "Direct". Seeing as your image is no longer available, re-upload the image to ImageShack and copy the "Show image to friends" link and paste it in your address bar to access the page that contains the direct link, which you may use as your avatar. The option to add avatars to the avatar gallery is currently unavailable with the InvisionFree software. You can, however, use a code that will allow you to add avatars to the avatar gallery. |
