How much do you pay, and how much do you think you should be paying?

I can get into second-run movies for 7.50 including popcorn and drink, and I'm fine with that.

I can get into first-runs for 17.50 including popcorn and drink. I think I should be paying between 7 and 10 dollars, though.

We have a "drive in" in my town and you get to see 2 new movies for $6 and the food is cheaper than at the theater.

Just to get in to the movie it is 9.50. Then to get a medium drink and medium popcorn it is 12.50. Thus it is 22.00 dollars just to see a movie. Kind of insane if you ask me.

Tickets here are 8.50, so with a date and something to eat it's usually around 20 bucks. Which isn't bad, considering I'd have to wait months to pay 15 bucks to watch it in lower sound and audio quality alone later. :P

I'd say about 7bucks for tickets and 3-4 for food

It's about 7.50 for the movie. I'm a member of some rewards thing so every Tuesday is free small popcorn day and every once in awhile I get other things too like small drinks and such. Any other time I don't go for concessions anyway, so I have no idea how much all that is.

$9.50 at the local AMC which sucks, though they do have "student nights" every Thursday where you can get tickets for $7.50 each.

I always go with 5 or more ppl so we pay alot but we buy food and drinks from the gas station or something and sneak it in. Its easier to sneak it at the mall theaters I mean just walk in pretty much lol.
Its around 6.25 I think each person i gotta check I never pay attention

At our local cinema it's about £5 for normal seats, and it's about £8 for superior seats (they're an awful lot more comfy than normal seats, with more leg-room, a head rest, and in some screens they're leather). I never buy food at the Cinema though, it's always too expensive, I prefer to get sweets and stuff from Safeway as it's only over the road from the cinema.

£5.65 for the ticket. Same as Steve, I don't buy their food because it's too expensive.
