That one guy
Here, adults pay $8.50, while if I have my student ID with I pay $7.50.
I tend to wait until movies hit dvd before watching, with prices as they are. :/

I think it's jumped to $9.00 which is getting ridiculous. We used to have a drive-in but someone knocked out the power and they eventually just shut it down and now it's a giant office building....XD

Around here it's like $5 all day Monday-Thursday, then on Friday it's $5 until like 5:00 or 6:00, then it jumps to $10. So, naturally, I try to go to movies during the day or during the week. I usually never buy anything for snacks because that's where they **** you over. If it's a movie that we actually plan ahead for we'll stop at Target or a gas station and load up before we go.

I usually have 25 Euros with me (about $37) and the ticket costs around 8 Euros (about $12).

Expensive, I know. :/

For just tickets...

$8 for regular hours, and $5 for matinee. Popcorn and drinks are outrageous. :P

$11 in Queens, like $11.25 or something in Manhattan. Matinees are $8 or so I think.

I miss just giving a ten dollar bill. So simple.

15$ for tickets and 10-12$ for drinks and popcorn. So about 25-27$. I'm telling you, movie theaters only get worse with the prices.

Wow most of you guys get your tickets cheap. I have to pay at least $11 (including student ID), and then I'll have to pay another $10 for the popcorn and drink.

Lol, the food usually costs more than the ticket itself, and that's what ticks me. At my most recent movie, a small drink cost about $3.00-4.00, and since I was with friends, I had to buy a large, which must have been $7.00-$8.00, cause it came with free refills. With a large popcorn, I think it amounted to like $14.00, beating the ticket price by almost $3.00!

Yes, but you're sharing the large drink and popcorn...so per person, the concessions are still less than the ticket, but if you're the one buying that doesn't make it feel any better though.

Well i was the one who paid for the food and my own ticket, so....
I feel tickets should be around $5.00, no more.

I don't think it should be $5 to be honest, they wouldn't make much of a profit even if it is a benefit for us. :r
I usually tend to go to movies that have high reviews, or something my friends and I will enjoy.
