Around $15 normally, including the food.

Tickets here are around $6.50, less with an ID. The food is pretty cheap for theater food as well. :P

£6.50, which is absolutely disgustingly overpriced. The only films I've seen this year are the Hulk and The Dark Knight because of the awful prices.

£4.90 with a student ID for me, otherwise it's £6.20. I rarely buy food at the cinema though, if I want food I will just take some sweets in that I've bought elsewhere. :P

And after saying that, I went to the cinema last night with two other friends and spent £5.20 on a student ticket for Pineapple Express (prices just gone up a bit), spent about £8.50 in pizza hut beforehand and then between us spent another £8.50ish on a popcorn, maltisers & coke combo.
So after posting that I usually spend £4.90ish at the cinema, I actually spent about £16.50ish. :P

I know that when 4 of us go, it comes to around £40+, so I guess the food and tickets cost around £10 each. When me and my boyfriend go it's around the price of a DVD for both of us, which I'd say is bad considering I can watch a DVD as much as I want, and at the pictures I can only see it once. o_O

With the bailout bills passed and inflation, don't be surprised if ticket prices in the US go up to $13 to $15 in the next year. But right now I think it's $8.50, matinee's are $5 so I usually try to hit those.

Food and drinks are too expensive. I usually spend $20.00 give or take on a ticket + popcorn/drink.

How you Americans can complain is beyond me, over here in Britain we pay like $15 for a ticket and and around the same price for a drink and some popcorn. :P

In Cardiff cinema tickets are like £5.50 and £4.50 for students. Popcorn and a drink comes to like £6.50.

Tell 'em Lewis! :P

If you decide to pay for yourself and a mate here, you better have at least £20 ready. :/
