Firefox > Chrome. :r

Anyways, The Sentinel, how much memory do you have that you're worried about a slight increase in firefox memory consumption? I know firefox has had mem issues in the past, but the have been mostly resolved as far as I know.
actually i do have 2.00 GB of RAM bro..
Then you shouldn't be worrying about memory ;)

You're fine, my computer has 2 GB of RAM (not including external memory) and Firefox 3 runs fine, on Vista with Aero enabled nonetheless.

M is for Mod

There were some reports on the Mozilla site that the file was much larger on the automatic updater than if you downloaded the update from the website download page. No one seems to know why.

FYI - for anyone who cares, the reason the 3.03 update came only 2 days after the 3.02 update is because there was a bug in 3.02 that prevented passwords from being used or saved if you already had saved any passwords which contain non-ASCII characters. the 3.03 update fixed that bug.

exactly. if you have memory, why not have your programs use it? if another process needs it windows can direct the memory from firefox when it's necessary. what's the biggest waste - having all of your RAM used or only having half of it used and everything else put in page filing?
