What if I want to see stuff with javascript and people have tried posting on mozilla support except no one knows why it's happening except mozilla and they aren't responding so i'm using chrome for now on windows and just turning off javascript on linux even though i shouldn't have to.

if you want to load javascript you just set noscript to allow scripts from that site... it's better than turning off javascript altogether as you've done.

it's not like there are many people exploiting the flaw. if someone goes to a site that repeatedly makes their browser crash, they generally don't bother returning.
