Headphones for your computer or for your iPod? I recently found out you can plug any set of headphones into a computer. I use the ones that came with my CD player. :P
Seriously? Nearly everything uses a standard 3.5mm jack unless you're dealing with extremely large amps or recording equipment
Unless something she uses has a 2.5mm jack. My cell phone has a 2.5 so I had to get special headphones to make them work. But mostly everything produced as a music player other than cell phones turned into music players has a 3.5mm jack...
Cell phones are the reason i had to say 'nearly' since a lot of them require weird jacks D; although from what i've seen most of them thesedays seem to just be 2.5mm jacks, which can have a cheap 2.5 -> 3.5 lead to allow you to just use normal headphones.

I'm in the market for getting new ones. I really hate my old ones, and they were dying on me anyway. Anyone know of the best kind, that will last long, sound good, and feel good in your ear? I'm thinking the default iPod ones.

Available in many colors. I've used them and they're absolutely incredible. Comfortable, loud, clear, don't fall out, and very durable. Just feeling them you could tell they will last long. Mine broke, but not because of music or anything, but rather I had the wires hanging out of my pocket and something tugged on it as I was walking fast. I plan on getting another pair. I'd say they're a lot better than iPod headphones in durability, comfortability and clarity.
I use those with my iPod.

However, when I'm at home I use Technics with mostly everything I'd sit down to listen to. I got them for my birthday and they're really, really nice. ^_^
