Satisfaction, I think, is largely a case-by-case situation. I have had two Dell computers (my home desktop, and my laptop). Both I have had exceptional use of, with no trouble really. But I know others who have had issues with their Dells.

Good luck with your next though. :P
Yep, before I bought my laptop, everyone was like... don't go with dell, they suck, but I've had this for two / three years now and no problems - still keeping up on default everything too. It just depends if you're lucky to be completely honest. :)
I guess every computer manufacturer has flawed projects, some with more than others. I've used three Acer computers(my mom's my dad's and mine), and I didn't have any problems, but a lot of my friends say that Acer is the worst computer manufacturer out there.

Yea. Never buy an HP laptop. I bought mine only two years ago in 06 and I am coming across too many problems and now I have to spend more money for a new computer already. Thankfully I will be building my own this time. :)

My HP laptop has the most idiotic problems. Can't even cool itself anymore correctly. System crashes on the most random occasions even when it isn't even that warm. For example, playing wow and BOOM! The system turns itself off. I do not have viruses or spyware. That's the hard thing to see... None of that yet all these dumb problems. A lot of times my computer likes to freeze and just sit there doing nothing I am asking it to do. lol. I do everything on this computer but soon no more... Sometimes it doesn't even want to recognize my devices which really makes me mad if I want to listen to music or whatever. Don't get an HP laptop!

They suck...majorly :/ Converted to Macs now.
Mac Love. :hehe:

Lewis is also right. Although I have not bought a PC in the past 4 years, the next one that I get will definitely be built bit by bit. B)

The majority of HP's suck.

Also, customer service isn't satisfactory either.

I never had a problem with my HP pavillion desktop yet. I can't say much about their customer service though as I've yet to need them.

You may think that HP's Suck but here is an interesting Fact.

Quote:

HP has also saved 5.25 million tons of C02 emissions since 1993 through HP LaserJet Instant-On
Technology. “This is equal to a year’s emissions for approximately 1.1 million cars.

Yes it may be talking about the Printer side of things but HP has made an effort to cut down C02 emissions Down.
I have not have not had anything wrong with the customer service side of things. I converted my HP to XP because it had Vista on it. Posted a thread on their forums and within a few hours had all the drivers.
