Hi all,

I had a bit of trouble finding the place to greet you all. Guess that's what I get for not scrolling all the way down and get distracted by all the lovely themes along the way down here. ^_^

I'm Mystica and reside in Belgium. I've been using forum sites now for about 2 years, which makes me a relative newbie still compared to many others in my communities. My board communities are mainly around themes on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, which is a fantasy book series. My own site is based on both the WoT and the LoTR from Tolkien. I've started my board activities on Dragonmount.com but later also joined TarValon.net. There are quite a few WoT sites out there, actually, but as these sites tend to become quite active and intense I try to limit my membership to only a few. And now with my attempt of building up one of my own (I plead insanity on this one) it's all I can handle ^_^

I would love to be able to make my own themes, but I am such a noob (read 'idiot' ) in these matters and all matters tech that I am not at all certain I'll ever get the hang of it in less than a decade. So it was with great joy that I saw that this site offers themes on requests too, which is absolutely wonderfull. Looking forward to browsing all themes and getting to know all the artists behind the scenes.

Also new to Zeta and just getting comfortably at home in the IF acp environment, so that too is a whole new learning curve for me. Which makes deciding what themes best fit my community a bit tougher since I'm not yet fully versed in all the possibilities standard Zeta offers which may be effected by the themes. The possibility to use different themes on different boards on the site is quite exciting though, as that would allow us to personalise the Orgs (organisations = different groups within the main site). So I'm quite looking forward to seeing what we can find and come up with.

Well met to all of you.

One of the longest introductions I've seen yet, rival to some of the ones I've written, lol. Anyways, welcome to the ZBTZ.

Thank you all :) I must say I very much like the default skin on this board. I don't suppose this one is up for grabs? *grins*
Right now I'm looking over the different possibilities available. My dream would be to either learn to make my own themes or to find someone (or someones) that would be willing to 'work' for my site. Though I fully realise that this may be a bit too much wishfull thinking lol. I've tried to make heads and toes out of the whole CSS thing, but so far I am sadly lacking in even the most basic stuff. Most tutorials I've found all start from the assumption that you know the basics, which I don't unfortunately.

No this theme is not up for grabs, but we have several other themes in our galleries that you are free to use. I'm not going to say that it's easy to learn theming, because it isn't, however, we have documentations located here and support forums to help you learn. :)

Welcome to the Theme Zone. ^_^

If you're working with Invisionfree I could help you with a skin, but I have no coding skills with Zetaboards, yet.

Anyhow. Wonderful introduction! Hope to see you around!
