It looks okay, I don't like the green boarder around the convo boxes and it clearly needs a lot of work to get it to a release, but it's okay.

I'm not interested in Live Messenger until Microsoft get real and make an identical version for OS X.

I can't wait for this to be a full release. The current stable version doesn't work well with my computer, so I am really hoping this next version does.

Well the border in the display picture box isn't always green its green when you are (online), red when you are (busy) and yellow when you are (away) I think its kind of a cool I idea. It does still have lots of work like when you change the theme of the main window it doesn't change the convo windows. But I do hope they work on it a little more.

Ditto. I hate the Mac version. If Apple is willing to make iTunes identical for both users then surely Windows can return the favor. :/

I would have thought they made iTunes identical for both users so that more people would buy iPods and the like. :r

I also doubt Microsoft would give Windows users another reason to move over to OS X. You never know though, stranger things have happened. :3

This is exactly my thought. I've always related this issue to iTunes. Same with Quicktime. Apart from the Office package, there's nothing else Microsoft has converted that meets similarities for OS X; and even that doesn't work too well.

Used it not long ago and it's awesome. Still needs some work but apart from that, I'll most likely be using it.

I would have also thought that they converted iTunes for iPod users with Windows. It's not like they would let only Apple users have an iPod, that's just stupid. There's nothing on Windows that Mac users would actually need (and if they definitely needed it, then Bootcamp is there), so I'm guessing they would spend more time on the people who're actually with them than those using a different company. I know I would. :hehe:

I'm downloading it right now. I read all about it and I loved it. Hope it is as wonderful as they make it in the web page

Edit: Argh, it has some bugs. For example when you try to use an image as the background it changes on the main contacts window, but not on the conversation window. Also, it's supposed that when you drag pictures on the conversation window it shows them on the right, and you can click them to view them right from the conversation window, along with the person you're talking with. However, when you drag them they get sent as a file, as it happened in the old version... I really wanted to use that feature.

Oh really? o_O

Well, yes, I know it's a beta. Just wanted to point out those annoying bugs. Another one is that when you get mail and click on the go to your inbox button it takes you to msn.com, instead of your inbox.

.yunoko: Yep, I figured that out after some usage, but it is still a pretty ugly green imo

The emoticons are all messed up and the graphics pixelated but when they sort that out it should be pretty nice

I was just directing it at you're tone of surprise about finding bugs. Nothing personal :).

Back on topic. The 'Wave 3' interface actually looks pretty good.
