The quality of FireFox's spellcheck decreases over time... at least for me it does. Why? Because have you ever been fixing your misspelled words really fast and accidentally hit "Add" instead of the suggested word? Over time, you'll have a bunch of misspelled words. Can I delete/edit these words? I haven't seen a way to do it... so the spellcheck's quality is decreased over time.

I don't follow. I don't do rapid spellcheck's because, and not to sound arrogant, but I rarely type errors :P If I do, it's because I purely don't know how to spell the word and then I usually have to take a second and figure out which spelling suggestion is correct.

As far as the dictionary of suggested words, it's perfectly large enough for me. I've yet to encounter a word it wasn't able to suggest.

I think you could probably just delete the dictionary all together, then download and install a new one.
