My Macbook Pro is ejecting cds almost right after they are put in. I don't know what's going on. I've used a couple different brands of CD so I know that's not it, and I put on in the other day and it worked, but I ejected it without doing anything, and now every one since then hasn't stayed in. I've put in blank DVDs and they work fine, but not blank CDs. Any help?

Maybe something is wrong withh it, and giving apple a call may help. If the pro has the same disc slot as the normal macbook then I understand how annoying it is :P

I was trying to run bootcamp and like 50% through the installation it ejected the disc and I had to start over becasue of a disc error "CD Not found"

>__>

I find normal disc trays are better anyway haha

Yeah, I like how it doesn't pop out, but it can be much more difficult to work with.

Hmm, that's weird. All I can suggest is to shutdown the Mac, give it an hour or so to cool down and try again later. If the problem persists, it's a hardware issue and if you bought it in the last year, Apple will give you a new one at no cost. :)

Make sure your eject key is stuck. If you tilt your computer and look under there should be a good bit of space you should see two slots on either side of the key. If not it's your key but you could always reprogram the key and see if that fixes your problem. If not just take it to apple and let them handle it.
