I'm trying to build a simple news ticker, using a marquee. However, the problem with marquees is that they wait until all information has scrolled across the screen before they return to the beginning, whereas I want the scrolling to be continuous. For example: http://s1.zetaboards.com/zbtestforum/index/ You see how it waits for "Example Headline #6" to scroll all the way off the left side until "Example Headline #1" starts scrolling from the right again? I'd like to make it so "Example Headline #1" immediately follows "Example Headline #6" with no break in between. Is this possible with marquees? If not, is there some other way I could accomplish this? Thanks in advance for any help.

With the <marquee> tag? No. It's non-standard, hardly works anyway, and should be avoided whenever possible. Javascript is the only other real way to pull off a marquee. Try Googling it. |
