I'm using Windows Media Player.

The sound is really grainy/glitchy. :/

I know. However, if you read the first sentence:

Does iTunes let you control the balance, left to right, of your speakers?

What do you mean, though? That I just keep moving the balance from left to right whilst having the music on or what? When I move the balance to -10, the sound goes to my left speaker, and vise versa for 10.

Elaborate.

I mean that balance has something to do with left and right. Because L and R can be symbolized as Left and Right, respectively, you yourself could've figured out what your instructions meant by balance if you actually tried using Google.

I've already sorted and figured out what the balance meant. The only problem, now, is the fact that the speakers are grainy, if you know what I mean?

The sound isn't grainy if I use the <None> Environment, but it sounds so much better as Generic. :'( So am I gonna just have to settle for <None>, or is there a way for me to use Generic without the grainy/glitchy sounds? :-/
