This site has a wide selection of hex codes. Click on a colour swatch on that page to view all the colours in it.
When you say Legend, do you mean you want to alter a member legend you've added to your board, or that you want to change the colour of user's names?

Manage User Groups - The Group You Want - Edit.

Put " <span gname='Admin' style='color:red'> " in the Online List Format (prefix)

And " </span> " in the (suffix)

That Will Turn The Admin Red on the member legend.

* just change " admin " to the group name & " red " to the colour you want

<span gname='Admin' style='color:red'>
gname? Did you mean 'class'? Technically all anyone really needs is the 'style' part. Otherwise it gets over-complicated :P Plus if they use too many characters, they can unfortunately end up breaking the HTML in the groups home page.

<span style="color: red"> or using a hex code <span style="color: #ea0000"> will work just fine for the Prefix field :)
