I've just come across the problem of not being able to post on my forum. I am an admin with no daily posting limit and have complete access to all functions. I've been swapping mods on and off for a couple days, but I don't know what the problem is. I have posted at least a dozen times today, so I know it must be a very recent problem. Let me know if you need anything else to fix this urgent problem. |

This question appears to be about InvisionFree, not ZetaBoards. It's now been moved to the appropriate InvisionFree support section. Thank you. |

What error message do you receive when you try to post in a topic? Make sure the following options are setup properly for the Admin group. Admin CP Users and Groups Manage User Groups Edit Group (Admin) Can reply to OWN topics? - - - Can reply to OTHER members topics (where allowed)? YesAdmin CP Forum Control Permission Masks Edit (Admin Forum Mask) Reply: Put a tick mark in those checkboxes.

All the options and privileges are set correctly. I don't receive an error message, but the Add Reply button simply doesn't show up. Also, the Root Admin is getting the same thing. UPDATE I am now able to post, but didn't change anything. Could it be some sort of cookie problem? Edited by Sidious01, Oct 13 2008, 06:50 PM.

Attempting to post a topic or reply to a topic in your 'Guest Resort' forum seems fine in both Firefox 3 and Internet Explorer 7. Posting also works correctly. You don't seem to have any dodgy scripts which'd cause the button to not appear. If you are talking about the graphic buttons you click to get to the posting/reply page, can you see this? : ![]() If you're using Firefox, it is possible that you've blocked images from the imageshack domain. The likelihood of you both doing it isn't likely, but it isn't impossible either ![]() Just to make sure I'm covering as many bases as possible: - If you were to log out, can you post as a guest in your Guest Resort forum like I have done? Can you post in this forum while logged in? - Which browser are you and your co-admin using? Edit: (for your edit) I'm not that clued up on cookies, but I don't think that has any bearing on whether you'd be able to post or not. Has your co-admin made any changes in the AdminCP while you've been here that you're not aware of? Edited by Nicola-ZNS, Oct 13 2008, 06:52 PM.

I'll move the images to my Photobucket. \ I can post on all boards and can see the button now. (Wierd, eh?) I told him I'd report it and didn't make any changes since I posted the problem up. Edited by Sidious01, Oct 13 2008, 06:55 PM.

Instead of uploading the images to an image host, I suggest uploading them to your board. That way, the images will only go down when the server is offline, which means you wouldn't even be able to access your board anyways. |
