Can A Javascript Table Be Converted Into BB Code?

We had an Arcade on our IF forum. It was basically just a table, with clickable thumbnails that launched a pop-up window to play the games. And it was a javascript, that we had in the Board Rules section. Now it's just code, because the Board Rules on ZB are in BB Code. Is there any way of fixing it? We know that there are other Arcade codes around, but we liked our own - basic, and only including what we wanted. And no linked scripts, having to join other boards, or add multiple scripts, etc.

If it's not possible to get the original code to work, is it possible to make a table that effectively does the same thing, using BB Code?

You *could* create a webpage ( ACP > Website maker ) and name it "Arcade", and tic "yes" on the option labeled "Link to this page in the board menu?"and a link that page will be placed to the right of the "Portal" at the top menu automagically. ;)

Would that work just using the same javascript as before? And can you have more than one webpage linked there? I know one of my colleagues has plans for that feature. Thanks for the reply JFK, but the other issue would be that the Arcade would then be completely detached from the forum/threads connected to it. And also I presume it would be on view to all, rather than a little bonus for our members?

It *should* work... I have yet to find anything which does not work in a webpage.

Yes you can... But after a while it does clutter the menu... I an sure that there are javascripts in the public domain for manipulating those menus into drop down menus and those scripts would be placed in the board template.

You are welcome.

Yes, all would be able to view it... Unless you turn off guests ability to view the board. I do not know what your objective is with your board.

Edit to add - you could make a webpage and not tic that option and just link to it from a thread... Just an after thought.

Ah, the part in your edit sounds like a feasible option. ^_^ I'll give it a go and see if it works. Cheers. ;)

EDIT: It did work. I set it up as a redirect sub-forum, so now it's even cleaner than it ever was before. Thanks for the idea, JFK. ^_^
