I found his books rather hokey. However, I respect him for writing them, regardless of my opinions of their literary merit. They encourage people to think about contemporary scientific issues that affect all of us, whether or not we're in scientific disciplines, and that's a good thing. |

I thought it was interesting that he died the same day they announced that scientists had been able to clone frozen mice. |
