I thought for a while, about this. It seems like the most obvious question, but no one ever asks it.
My answer, by the way, was; in everyone.

So where is god?

A blast from the past.

I am going to move this to Community Chat, as the posts are short and are not to Java Hut standers (yes I know it's only two posts, but I can't see much room for deep discussion nor debate really in this topic).

For the heck of it

Here's a list of most common answers I predict coming, ;)

"He is every where"
"heaven"
"There is no God thus he/she/it/flying spaghetti monster can't be anywhere"
"He is in all of us"
"God is what you make him to be"
"God is dead and we have killed him"

Okay so maybe some of them I took from more of a philosophical stance and may not actually would of shown up in this board alone.

EDIT: Please note that Padmé made his/her post well I was making mine, and didn't see it. Thus proving part of my theory true ;) :P

In the minds of those who have any faith in a "god", in my opinion. But, physically, I would be prone to agree with those at the Church of Google.

Quantum-locked when observed.

I last saw Him behind my sofa, but He may have since moved to the TV stand, wardrobe, or upstairs closet.

Which one? One big GOD or army of small gods? God is like an experiment, lust like a circle, done by nations on Earth. First peoples were afraid nature, so they made bunch of spirits for every aspect they didn't understand. But later some aspects were more repeatable than others, so some spirits gain god status. Rest stayed at their current position.
Why they made them? In that times, human didn't understand that it's creating its own world. It and other humans. For it, always were any power (nature, disease), which can kill it - strong man - without any effort.

Later some humans found a way, how to live as kings without being them. Being a priest or astronomer was a good way. Those false priests made a whole mythology, what's god, what it did, how to pray to him.... They made funny sentences, rituals... They made whole cosmology, in one of them god is inside of invisible heavens. One central place. Modus Mundi. Destination point. At least way to it is simple. You will never lose Your way to it...

For others it's inside of us. Manichaeism as one. No one will say, if God is inside of us, there must be also Satan as well. Unless were're walking saints. Followers of that theory have relative easy way to it than followers of heaven...

Some would say, we kill it. But that means it had physical body. Or we destroy it's mind? How then? There was small thesis about god:

- God is sleeping, when last of it follower is dead.
- God is gone, when last information about it is gone.

But if we even can remember gods from the past (Egypt, Greek or Roman ones), how we can kill the god? Maybe we cannot?

Some would say, we're making it. Good words. For every of us, god means something differrent. Like my examples above. So every one can say, whereit is for him.

Where it is for me? For me god eventually made a world, then leave it. Deism. There is no god.
