When members use Firefox on the board they seem to be able to right click and then select 'View Page Source' which then enables them to view the coding for the site, which is something which should really only be possible for the Admins to do. Is there a way I can disable and stop this from happening because it is somewhat of an inconvience and something which is not wanted for members to be able to do because they can simply take things from the coding and use it as they please. If you do not understand me, here is a small screen shot which hopefully will make you understand more clearly.![]() Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

With any forum or website the option 'View Source' is not possible to disable. You can also do it with IE, Opera. There is no way of stopping them from doing that. However if they are copying your skin, maybe make it so your images have a faint logo saying your forum name... Very faint font that is. |

Compressing your javascript can make it virtually unreadable, if thats something you didn't want stolen from your source. If only it were possible to keep your source code completely hidden, but I'm pretty sure you can't, or at least, not easily at all. I've never come across a website that was able to do it. |

That's unfortunate to hear. I don't like the thought of them being able to just openly access it and take as they please. I shall be getting small writing added onto all images, etc. However Nicola, can you please explain to me how I would go about making the writing much smaller on the coding? Also there is no coding within the javascript section of the admin cp, however does that not really matter, it can still be done to all other coding work, can't it? Thank you both for your time. |

yeah, they have to be able to access it somehow to be able to see the website :/ BUT, I may know how to disable it entirely (by learning the css for the browsers and setting the menu to display:none;) hey, it's worth a shot |
