Move the base HTML for the sidemenu under this:

<body bgcolor='#FFFFFF' leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" alink='#000000' vlink='#000000'>

And then we'll go from there :)

Move the base HTML for the sidemenu under this:

<body bgcolor='#FFFFFF' leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" alink='#000000' vlink='#000000'>

It didn't work. /=

This is my board wrapper, (including your thing)

<body bgcolor='#FFFFFF' leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" alink='#000000' vlink='#000000'>
<table id="main" cellspacing="10px" cellpadding="5px" align="center">
<tr>
<!-- begin side menu -->
<td valign="top" id="menu">

<!-- block -->
<div class="tableborder">
<div class="maintitle">Middle Of Nowhere <3</div>
<div class="row4">
<p>
Welcome to beautiful, sunny Grant High School. Where you can find friends, girlfriends and boyfriends, and of course DRAMA. Come join all your TSLOTAT friends as you embark on your teenage journey through life. Have fun! (=
</p>
</div>
</div>
<!-- /end block -->

</td>

<!-- Begin main content -->
<td valign="top" id="board">

<body bgcolor='#FFFFFF' leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" alink='#000000' vlink='#000000'>
<% BOARD HEADER %>
<% NAVIGATION %>
<% BOARD %>
<% STATS %>

And that's under header & body

this is under footer:

</td>
</tr>
</table>

IDK WHAT TO DO!

grr.

I had said 'then we'll go from there' which didn't mean I thought my suggestion would solve it. But you shouldn't have table contents before the <body> tag on any website, so it's the right thing to do first.

I will help you with this later (I need to go visit family) :)

There is a minor CSS error around the .maintitle, which is causing half your style sheet to not work. Therefore it hasn't been reading your sidemenu width declaration at the end, among other things.

Look for this:
CSS

.maintitle { vertical-align:middle;font-weight:bold; color:#9900FF; letter-spacing:1px; padding:8px 0px 8px 5px; background-color: #3399ff }
.maintitle a:link, .maintitle a:visited, .maintitle a:active { text-decoration: none; color: #FFF }
.maintitle a:hover {text-decoration: none}

Add what I've added in bold red, and it will fix itself.

Annoying thing about coding.. it's always something really small, happens to everyone :P

Okay, this has all helped a lot. thank you.

but one more question, how do I move it down more so it's aligned with my board, and not way at the top?

Change your Header & Body wrapper to the following coding.
Code:

<body bgcolor='#FFFFFF' leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" alink='#000000' vlink='#000000'>

<% BOARD HEADER %>
<% NAVIGATION %>

<table id="main" cellspacing="10px" cellpadding="5px" align="center">
<tr>
<!-- begin side menu -->
<td valign="top" id="menu">

<!-- block -->
<div class="tableborder">
<div class="maintitle">Middle Of Nowhere <3</div>
<div class="row4">
<p>
Welcome to beautiful, sunny Grant High School. Where you can find friends, girlfriends and boyfriends, and of course DRAMA. Come join all your TSLOTAT friends as you embark on your teenage journey through life. Have fun! (=
</p>
</div>
</div>
<!-- /end block -->

</td>

<!-- Begin main content -->
<td valign="top" id="board">

<% BOARD %>

You need to add the second block after the first one:
Code: HTML

<!-- block -->
<div class="tableborder">
<div class="maintitle">Middle Of Nowhere <3</div>
<div class="row4">
<p>
Welcome to beautiful, sunny Grant High School. Where you can find friends, girlfriends and boyfriends, and of course DRAMA. Come join all your TSLOTAT friends as you embark on your teenage journey through life. Have fun! (=
</p>
</div>
</div>
<!-- /end block -->

^ Add it straight after this.
It's currently in the wrong table cell, it's under the <% BOARD %> at the moment.
