I haven't actually had anyone do this and I seriously doubt that it ever would but I'm wondering if there is a way to keep my admin accounts threads/posts from being deleted or edited in any way by my forum moderators?

Thanks.

Hi there.

The only way you can do this is by completely removing the ability for your moderators to edit and delete posts. Below are a few simple steps on how to edit this.
  • Log in to your Administration Control Panel.
  • On the left hand side there are categories of options to edit your forum. In the 4th category, which should be called Forum Control, click the option that says Moderators.
  • In your ACP your should see a table with all of the moderator sets you have set up. Click the group you want to stop editing and deleting your posts, for example; "Moderator". You should see the options remove or edit. Click edit.
  • In the list that is now displayed, the 2nd option down should say; Can edit others posts/polls?. If it is set at yes, click the option no. The fourth option in that list should say; Can delete others posts?. If it is set at yes, click the option no.
  • Now, scroll down to the bottom where it says Edit This Moderator and click it.

Let us know if you have anymore problems, if you do, I will create a visual structure of what to do. Good luck with your board! ^_^

Thanks, I figured as much. :(

I appreciate the offer of additional help as well but I've already got everything setup as I want it. :)
