Tutorial Name: How To Make A Round Edged Image/Signature Creator: lil_hack3r Date Created: March 12,2009 Tutorial Type: [¤] Text | [ ] Video Lets take this image. ![]() Now create a new layer. ![]() Go to the left-hand side and click on the Shape tool that's below the T (text tool). If you don't have your round rectangle tool selected, right click the tool and choose your selection of rounded rectangle. ![]() Begin drawing your rectangle on your image, like so. ![]() Now that you've done that, begin opening your layer style window. Which is by double clicking your layer. ![]() Window: ![]() Now go to the advanced blending and make the fill opacity 0% ![]() Final Steps! Go to path and make selection! ![]() In your make selection window just press OK! BUT make sure the feather radius is 0 & Anti-Aliased is CHECKED! ![]() Finally, go to Edit, Copy Merged. Make a NEW image, Do NOT edit the size (width, height) Just leave it and press OK! Thanks for reading! I will also be creating a tutorial on how to do this with Gimp 2. |
