I recently encountered this problem. One of the forums on my board seems to be a black hole for topics. When on the board view you can see the forum name and description, with the latest topic at the side of this. When you click the latest topic link you find yourself looking at the topic as usual. However, when you click the link above to go to the parent forum for that topic it takes you to the forum view but displays the message "no topics were found"

The same happens when you click the forum name on the board view. I've checked the topic cut off and it is fine, I've also tried creating a new forum and importing the topics but the same happens.

Also, there has been no response to my support ticket so any suggestions are appreciated.

Support tickets have been slow to respond as of late.

Is the topic in a subforum? Because from the board index, "Latest Post" includes posts in subforums.

Go to the admin cp and check the options for that particular forum or subforum. Maybe threads in there are being queued and are awaiting admin or mod approval in order to be displayed. Scroll down to where it says "Moderate Forum:" and make sure it's set to "No Moderation".

If it's already set to that or that doesn't work, make sure the member(s) posting in that forum or subforum isn't/aren't having all of their posts queued because of some group or personal restriction.
