Can't Code @ All

Ok, I have a couple questions, and figured I'd ask them all at once, instead of one per topic. Unless this is a bad thing of course, then slap my hand. Firstly is there a way to make it so when you go into a topic it doesn't automatically go to the newest post. It gets kinda annoying. Also, is there a way to link so a specific post without it going to a single post view, like in IF? And lastly, and sorry for all the questions, can anyone point me to a dice/random number code? I am looking for one that I can make like a few  commands or something of the sort. Not sure how to do it. If you need it the link to my board is in my sig. Thanks for any and all help.

Yes, go to Your Preferences --> Board Settings --> Topic Viewing Preference --> Go to the first post on the first page of a topic. Then save Your preferences.
It's possible, however I didn't find easier way for doing so than going to an user profile, check his of her posts in given month then pressing View full topic. As for dice code for ZB, I'm using this. |

Thanks a bunch! You know if its possible to have multiple die? I'm kinda looking for one that's a drop down menu with multiple choices such as 4/6/8/10/12/20 but for now I think this may have to work. :edit: And do you know if i can, by default, make it so everyone has the "Go to fist post on page" topic viewing preference. Sorry if I'm a pain. :$ Edited by DGwar, Apr 3 2009, 06:32 AM.

You could have a script do it. But personally I think you should leave it up to the members which way they want it. You could include a 'welcome topic' where you would tell them how to change it. |
