need help marquee; seen it done, cant get it to happen

ok.. im trying to make text in the intro thread to my forums scroll, marquee style... ive seen it done, but cant work it out..

ive tried the most suggested thing [move] and ive turned all appropriate code allowances on. please help me not go mad trying to figure it out..lol
