The search feature here is disabled and I tried browsing through your board, but nothing came up. I need help adding more fonts to my board, but I tried several lists of font choices, from google searching, and very few seems compatible with InvisionFree. My website is below http://z8.invisionfree.com/TheZones/index.php?act=idx I tried testing it out using
but, as before, it switches to a default San Serif looking typeface. The only fonts I have on the board, besides the defaults, are: Arial Narrow Mistral brush script mt Gadget,Britannic Bold ALGERIAN System These seem to be the only ones that work besides the defaults already added when I started the board. Anyone else knows of other fonts I can actually use with Invisionfree? In a nutshell: I am trying to add more fonts to my board, but a great deal doesn't work. Is there a list of them that DO work with Invisionfree? Edited by Mobius., May 7 2009, 07:52 PM.

Fonts will only display if you have them installed on your machine. Users who don't, will see their browsers default. As for adding extra choices into the drop down, you can check our Code Index to see if what you're after is in there. Or feel free to look through our Board Directory for modification boards who may be able to assist you further. |

Um, I tried putting in the ShelleyVolante BT and it doesn't work. I know how to add fonts to drop menus. My question was, "what fonts do Invisionfree display or accept," since it is apparent that there's a very limited choice for the board. The very font, Shelleyvolante bt, works on my machine by the way. Thanks for the help. |

InvisionFree will display any and all fonts that your browser and operating system will display. Fonts are not controlled by the InvisionFree software. |

Well with installing and much google searching, as well as looking the links you provide, I think one major problem is the limitation of Firefox's ability to display certain characters. I tried looking through internet explorer, after installing a font, and it worked as you described.. but I won't see this in firefox. Same with the </span> code for making user titles glow, Firefox will not display these details. |

Although that is a good suggestion, why should anyone have to change their browser to accommodate minuscule code? Especially since my firefox is completely hauled with costume addons and features so I won't have to download version 3. I tried looking for an addon that supports Internet Explorer presentation characters but to no avail. |

There are lots of reasons to download Safari and ditch other browsers, so it's not just about that miniscule code ![]() Further... You could try making fonts available to browsers by using HTML or JS or whatever may work, but perhaps someone who knows more can tell us if it's possible or not. |
