This has to be odd. I installed a Windows XP on my computer and my background for some reason isn't working. No materr what I try the background stays white. Anyone mind helping? |

Is your copy of XP legal? Did you simply upgrade from a previous version or is this a clean install? Are you using any Visual Style applications such as WindowBlinds or StyleXP? |

Alright, might be a graphics card/driver incompatibility with XP. Which GFX card do you use, and have you installed the latest drivers for it? |

Luke: I highly doubt anything you said woudl be a problem, makes no sense really... Anyway, I'm sorry I can't help, I don't have a copy of Windows setup for me to refer to bringing you through the steps, but simply try to change to the Windows Classic style, then change back to the XP style and see if that has an effect. |

Thats what I would do. I would also try restarting the computer, if you haven't done so already. |
