 Apparently it's all over the net. BBC News right now are saying that he's in a coma in UCLA, after suffering a heart attack.

The LA Times says he's dead:
[Updated at 3:15 p.m.: Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead by doctors this afternoon after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma, city and law enforcement sources told The Times.]

Who knows what to believe at this point in time.

Oddly when I searched it, there were several links that say that he's a hoax and the real one died year(s) earlier. Strange...

 I think not every news organization is on the same page atm so things will be a mess till the facts come forward and the dust settles over just what happened to him.

Farrah Fawcett died earlier today of cancer so this will be the second person to die today that's famous.

 TMZ aren't generally reliable, so I'd personally believe it once BBC reports it.

Nicola-ZNS is rather indifferent.
I feel sorry for his kids, but then I don't know if he's a good parent or not. He does creep me out to no end, though :ermm:

 It was strange how everyone on many IRC networks brought this up simultaneously. Naturally I was skeptical at first :P

Though once people other than TMZ mentioned he was dead, we were all like "ooooh"

But yeah, the old him was better.

I am watching CNN at the moment, and they just said (about 1 min ago) that they have not confirmed that he has died. The only news stations that I know of that have confirmed him death are the LA Times, the Associated Press, and Fox News. Only reliable source I would take from those three is the AP.

Ah. That wasn't the only one though.

When were the tours scheduled? I was watching on ABC and it reported that Michael Jackson was renting a house for $100,000 a month to prepare for some 50 tours ahead, and he put in quite a bit of preparation. And then this happens so suddenly.
