I'm thinking a combination of stress, fatigue, and medication causes his heart to give out, resulting in his reported cardiac arrest and then death. Sad days, losing Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson in such a short period of time. He might have been a weird guy constantly trying to regain his lost childhood, but his music has affected the world in several ways. RIP MJ. |

^The sidekick of Johnny Carson (former host of the Tonight Show). That's all I really know about him. I actually hadn't even heard of him either up until 2 days ago. |

We are actually discussing this on my forum as well. And Like I said on my forum, he was a great singer, A great entertainer, and he sold more albums then anyone, i believe. He is Truly going to be missed my his fans, peers and family. Who would ever have thought that you'll hear the day Michael Jackson Passed Away. |

It's a shame Billy Mays and Michael Jackson died. They were popular on TV and the radio. |

Michael Jackson was a god. I thought he would live till 100 years old.. But I thought wrong. Apparently it was the pain killers MJ was using for a back problem. |

I watched the memorial today. There were several poignant moments, but the one that really got me when his daughter, Paris, said a few words at the end of the memorial. May God bless those three children, and may they not have to suffer thru what he did, just because he is their father.

Nicola-ZNS wonders how many other sick and creepy paedophile pop stars will be called 'gods' when they die  |

He wasn't a pedophile. The kid that initially accused of him of it has since admitted that he was lying at his Dad's request, because they were short of money. |

Along with there being no substantial evidence to point to him to being a paedophile, and that you're being highly critical of appearances, I'm sure you're also not realizing the numerous charitable and selfless acts he demonstrated through his time and money. |

I think it's kinda funny that now he's dead, people are clearing shops out of his albums. If they had done that when he was alive, he wouldn't have been in the financial trouble he was in. |

He was never proven to be in a court of law. Would that be "the kid" whose family were paid off to drop the case? And "the kid" was hardly the only one to make similar accusations, was he? There's a slew of evidence. Whether it's "substantial" or not is open to interpretation. By his own admission, on camera, he invited children to share his bed with him. That alone more than justifies an opinion such as "sick and creepy". Conversely, he clearly had mental health issues (the whole Peter Pan thing, for a start), and spent an absolute fortune on surgery to change his appearance from a black man to a white woman. Charity is all very nice, but it's not absolution. Edited by FOS, Jul 9 2009, 01:00 PM.
