For clarification: Steve, if you're referring to Jordan Chandler's 'confession', that is fake. I don't think there is any real credible source that supports these statements as being factual.

Anyway, that kid was 1 of 3 that accused Michael (2 for the 1993 case, 1 for the 2005 case, I think).
- One who's family accepted money rather than pursuing a legal case (that's rather sick...if someone molested my child I would try to have them convicted and put away, not settle for money), who's father administered to his son a questionable drug and rather than going immediately to police attempted to negotiate with Jackson. Even when the family accepted money in the civil case, he was never convicted in the criminal case.
- One who provided contradicting stories and who's mother later revealed herself to be lying regarding her accusations through other contradicting statements.
- One who's mother was involved in another suspicious lawsuit with JC Penney, who's mother was charged with fraud and who didn't make any hint of being molested until after the airing of Bashir's (sp?) TV program when people started questioning Michael's actions.

Moreover, many other children gave statements, including ones that were at his little sleepovers, stating he hadn't done anything inappropriate.
If you understand the mentality of someone like him, you can better appreciate why he thought it was okay to have children in his room. When you don't have much of a childhood yourself, it's no wonder you're looking for opportunities to be more child-like. This doesn't make him sick and creepy--it would be sick and creepy to touch the children inappropriately--this only makes him a deviant from societal norms, who, when taking those norms into consideration, clearly didn't make the best choices if he didn't want people questioning him.
With regards to his appearance...him becoming white was the alternative to him having patching pigment from his vitiligo. Being in the vain, appearance-obsessed society we live in, it's no wonder to me that an already mentally vulnerable man such as himself would **** up his face with plastic surgery and remove any trace that he has a skin disease.

By the way, me bringing up his charity was in no way connected to thinking that that's why he should've been found not guilty. Instead, this is one large reason why people respect him so much, aside from his music and performances. The point here is justifying why people think so highly of him. People can think as badly as they want of him, but the fact that he wasn't convicted and carries other respectful attributes gives people good justification to respect him.

There's been a lot more than just 3 over the years. Kids from (at least) 3 different countries - in fact 3 different continents. LINK (interview from a British national newspaper, although some of the content may be upsetting for some and unsuitable for minors).

It's inexcusable.

If he suffered from that at all, why not make the patches the same colour as his natural skin tone? None of which explains the obvious feminisation of his nose and other parts of his face, or the cleft in his chin, etc.

There are lots of musicians/celebrities whose philanthropy I'm aware of. He was never one of them.

Overall, there is no concrete proof. But there's overwhelming circumstantial evidence. So yes, I can appreciate that people will take issue with what are, on paper, unfounded accusations. But by the same token, others should also be able to appreciate that there were aspects of the man's life that some will find highly distasteful. There's been a media bombardment in the aftermath of his death, and much of it paints him as almost saintlike. That sticks in the craw for many.

FOS: Warning, the mirror is probably the second worst newspaper in the country. The Sun takes the crown. I would be hesitant to believe any of the garbage they print.

I'd say the Star, Mail and Express were far worse than the Mirror. That said, the link is an interview.
