It is very sad to have to endure that. I think this is the most touching moment of the memorial for MJ. RIP.

Seems a bit harsh to shove her infront of a billion people when it doesn't look like she wants to be there.

You should see some of the comments;

"Fake shes not crying , Joe Jackson is totally behind this hes just using these kids. "

"...BUT with all due respect, some of the parts were plain cheesy, as if it's been rehearsed before. also they're fighting for the custody of the kids, maybe that culd have been a reason? what she did was awesome, but some of it does look staged."

Honestly, I don't think that was staged at all. Why would someone fake their cry for someone that they deeply cared for? And when they start touching her or however you want to say it, I don't think it's "cheesy" as the user above says -- she's nervous and they're just there to help get her words out.

But I agree, I think it's too much to put on her making her stand in front of all those people even though she didn't do too bad of a job.

I can't think of many kids who'd actually want to be at the memorial for their father though.

I think she was very brave, and it was a very emotional moment, and I hope the media can let them live in peace.

I'm surprised that the entire family was there. Mainly his children. What Paris did though...it really brings it into perspective that this is someone's father that is gone. The children won't have their parents there for them...just their legal guardians. That would be the toughest thing to have to deal with.

I feel sooo bad for the children. They lived such sheltered lives and then they are thrown on stage with millions and millions of people watching. However, I respect her so much for being able to do that.

Yeah, same here. I really did fight back tears the very first time I saw that. You know that feeling when your eyes start tingling and you blink more? Maybe I'm just a freak, but hey. :P
