Personal Motivation

Throughout your life, there are many forces or experiences that drive you. Whether it be an emotionally draining situation, or a situation where your nerves are on steroids, all of our actions and reactions are built upon personal experience. So...given that...what is the current thing motivating your actions and decisions? What experience, event, or force is driving you at this moment in your life?

Just curious to see some of the different fuels behind everyone's fire :)

My teacher motivates me to practice my instrument. :P

He's an excellent musician, that I want to be just like him, so I'll say he's a person that motivates me into becoming a professional musician. Also that I like playing the clarinet and alto sax. :D

My motivation is mainly focussed on school right now. Funnily enough, my motivation is to get good grades so I don't have to play the clarinet in the band next year. :S

I also have another motivation that helps with my other one, in case I fail at what I try.

If I fail, I will not stand and try to succeed in what I failed, instead, I will move on, and return once I know I can succeed.

Practising Parkour is what gives me most of my motivational techniques, as fear of failure is strong in the sport oif Parkour.

Didn't realize I hadn't posted mine :P

My motivation is the knowledge thaat those around me are happy. I am motivated by compliments and the knowledge that I did the best I could in a given situation :)

That really sums up my feelings on this topic. I'm very sensitive to degrading comments, so when I see someone pleased it really motivates me to try harder in whatever it is that they're pleased about. Be it grades, computers or friendships. :)
