Coda
[ *  *  * ]
Name:
Change Member & Group Colors Globally (By Mwr247)

Description:
Normally, members of each group only have their name colored in the online user list, posts, and pms. What this code does is make it so member names are colored across the entire board. Also lets you color group titles as well, which aren't normally so.

The only bug I'm aware of is if you include a colored username in a topic title, the whole link will be colored as well. Same applies for any link, which in most cases is good:)

Browser compatibility:
Tested to work in IE, FireFox, Mozilla, Opera, and Safari.

Preview:
ZetaBox
Look for "Mwr247", it's red everywhere (and in posts, "Admins" is red as well).

Installation:
Goes in your board template "Below the Board" area:
Quote:

<script name="C.M.G.N." type="text/javascript" src="http://z3.ifrm.com/1/22/0/p131/zetacolors.ibf"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
// Change Member & Group Colors (By Mwr247)

// Add Names
colorname('USERNAME1','red');
colorname('USERNAME2','green');

// Default Name Color
defaultname('blue');

// Add Groups
colorgroup('GROUP1','red');
colorgroup('GROUP2','green');
</script>

The text in red is the name of the user you want to have colored.

The text in blue the color you want the user to be. You can use their simple names like red and green, or hex names like #FF0000 and #008000.

The text in orange is the default color for everyone who are not listed specifically (optional piece).

The text in green is the name of the group you want to have colored.

The text in purple the color you want the group to be. You can use their simple names like red and green, or hex names like #FF0000 and #008000.

Now, if you want to add more users or groups, simply copy one of the other lines and paste it below, then change it accordingly. For example, if I wanted to add "USERNAME3", I would copy the whole line for "USERNAME2", and paste it below it. It would look like this afterwards:
Quote:

colorname('USERNAME1','red');
colorname('USERNAME2','green');
colorname('USERNAME3','blue');

And that's it! Your member and group color name code is installed! Enjoy :D

It doesn't change the name color of those in the groups, it changes the group title. For example, here it would color "Members" in your post details the color that you set it. It applies anywhere the group name is found, including searches and profiles and stuff.

not sure if you're asking about usernames or post names but if it's user titles, those should automatically be colored depending on which group they're in. I don't know if there is a code to color post titles, you can look around though.

this code just colors the groups in posts like so: Posted Image
