I was thinking about converting the forum into a www.___.com website. First of all, does this go against invisionfree's rules?
If not, does anyone know how to turn a forum into a .com site, when domain space is purchased?

This is fairly easy to do, once you've purchased a domain. We even have plenty of documentation available to help you with this process, should you wish to go it alone (though you certainly don't have to). If you want a domain for your board, we recommend GoDaddy.com or Yahoo! Domains. Part of your purchase helps InvisionFree and ZetaBoards. If you purchase your domain through GoDaddy! or Yahoo, we are able to provide full support (as our support team has experience with using them). We'll work with you to fix any problems you have with your domain.

That sounds great, I'll let you know when I've purchased a domain!

This is how I was planning on setting it up.

There would be 3-4 Pages.
Page 1 - Main
Page 2 - Forum (this is where I would want my IF/ZB forum
Page 3-4 - Other stuff

I have a registered domain on GoDaddy.
I suppose I'd need to host it somewhere though. I've found a few free hosting websites, any idea how to get all this done?

You can have a look at the Domain Manager Documentaion to see if it helps. It tells you how to set up your purchased domain etc.
