One of my users informed me today that he couldn't edit a post that he made on my board. I have checked his member group in the Admin CP, and it has "can edit own posts" set to "yes". The topic isn't locked either. This is the first time I've ever seen this particular issue, and he appears to be the only one. Does anyone know what might have caused this or how to fix it? OK. The only place I see this is groups. Go to ACP -> Users and Groups -> Manage User Groups -> pick the group the member is in and click Edit Group -> Edit time restriction (in minutes)? There should be a text box with a number in it. If that number is not 0, the number is the number of minutes after posting during which the user is allowed to edit the post. After the time has passed editing is no longer allowed. |
