Hello
My forum z15.invisionfree.com/theswedishzaintz was affected by a virus today I think, when i opened a thread my antivirus warned me for virus, and another admin on this forum also got some sort of virus from the forums. It has nothing to do with the thread or so though. Ive took the forums offline for our users safety also.

Not sure what to do, could a Invisionfree admin scan our forums for virus or something like that? Thanks for help, post here or drop me a PM.

There are two ways you could get a virus on the board:
1. You have some hosted code (<script src="http://..."></script>) which the original hoster decided wasn't worth it anymore. That or the original hoster was just evil. Regardless, the hoster has apparently decided to stick a virus in it. If this was the case, you should see it on every page, and the solution is to figure out which script it is and remove it (usually by removing them one at a time).

2. There is an ad with a virus. Usually this is only one ad, and since there are many different ads that appear on a forum, it'd help if we had a screenshot of the ad so that we can pinpoint it and report it. I'm aware that the ad contains a virus but you have to help us if you want it gone. :/ If you remember which ad it was it might give us some direction.
