So I finally played this a few days ago. Already one of my favorite games ever. Really difficult at parts, which makes it even more entertaining. |

What are the difficult parts? Getting to a certain point before the time runs out? |

Probably the finales when you get two rounds of tanks and hordes. or maybe Hard Rain when there is like 100 witches in that field. Edited by OverTheBelow, Jan 2 2010, 06:29 AM.

Im still to play it, if you live in Australia and have the censored version on PC you can change it, but not on Xbox/PS3 Pal Version. |

I never understood why they censored it. What did they remove from the game? |

Probably the excess of blood and gore, Australia has some really stupid videogame laws.

Some people, just too darn picky haha. But really, its a zombie game. Did they expect it not to be gory? |

Well, the law is global; for all games. And lets be honest, it is one of the most goriest games out there at the moment.

There's tons of games with more disturbing content than L4D2. Australia just doesn't want to be prepared for the impending zombie attack.

That reminds me of something: http://www.gamepolitics.com/2009/02/26/onion-are-violent-games-adequately-preparing-kids-apocalypse ![]() I've never played any of the Left For Dead games, though I'm sure they'd appeal to me. I'm all for killing zombies gruesomely and such. |

No, Australia doesn't have an 18 or M rating for games, the highest rating is 15. So the games that are normally rated 18 or M here, have to be toned down to a 15 level for them. |

When you kill the enemies they just disappear and there's 80% less blood + gore. |

Both those, and the one part before the finale in the Dark Carnival. They just... don't... stop coming... Me and my friend were in hysterics trying to get to the safe room on that part. He had little health/ammo, and my screen was black and white and I had no ammo. Nothing on me but the katana. I just kept pushing my way through and slicing everything, cursing out the whazoo pretty much. ... we never did beat the finale though. Took about 5 tries than we gave up and kept shooting each other and the team mates. |

Well, there's not literally 100 witches, obviously. But upon encountering the 5th witch on the first chapter of that campaign, I quite literally said "What the fuuuuuuuu-". Somehow, I never startled them. ... and neither did the AI. THAT startled me more than anything, really. Though there was one part in the Parish level where there were a bunch of trucks or buses out in a big open lot somewhere. I got attacked by a witch, and the team just stood there... Like, I could see their blue outline from behind the bus, and not a single one of them made any effort to save me. NOT A SINGLE FLINCH. I happily shot them all point blank in the face upon restarting. |
