I used to live in silence, I used to sleep in silence. Now all I hear is a marching of soldiers in my head.

For those of you who have seen the movie, how do you feel about the rumor that Brad Pitt will play Moriarty in the sequel?

Personally, I approve. He's really shown off his acting chops in recent years. I think he'd do an excellent job.
Plus Downey + Pitt? I think they'd play really well off of each other.
That would be fantastic. Brad Pitt has become an excellent actor and it would definitely be great to see Downey and Pitt together in a movie.

Pitt's a decent actor and I enjoyed him in Inglorious Basterds but I'd rather they use a less well-known actor for the part.

I really enjoyed this movie except for the ending...

For me, the movie went by really fast, though - I didn't realize how long it was until I checked my watch afterwards.

Actually, I am a bit afraid. Not because I doubt Brad Pitt's acting, no. He was already good on Seven and it only got better recently. The problem is the character itself. Moriarty is my favorite antagonist in the Holmes Universe and I think I'd be a little skeptical no matter what. This happens very often to me in adaptations. We always picture the character in our own way and tend to consider different aspects important. It's basicaly the same reason why I disliked Heath Ledger's Joker despite the quality acting.

I went to see this last night and was really impressed. Definitely one of the best i've seen in recent memory and the chemistry between Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr was superb.

Fantastic action and wit and the overall way it was edited makes this a must see film, from my point of view anyway.
