For people to see religion for what it is and accept other faiths may have different ideals but they all point towards the same bigger picture which will hopefully resolve a lot of conflict.

I'd want to have a book or even just a short story of mine published. Quite self-centered, I know, but I'll speak without falso moralism: I'd be false to myself if I said things like world peace or the cure of cancer are more important to me than this as of know.

I agree about speaking without falsity. Though I think I can say with some of the issues, they would directly impact me or people I know, so they do elevate to that level of importance. If they didn't affect me, then yes, I think it would be falsely motivated and more what I feel is "right" to say.

I agree about speaking without falsity. Though I think I can say with some of the issues, they would directly impact me or people I know, so they do elevate to that level of importance. If they didn't affect me, then yes, I think it would be falsely motivated and more what I feel is "right" to say.
I'm not saying everyone that hopes for those things are doing so because it is nice to say so. Hell, who am I to understand the motivations and reasonings of others when I barely understand my own? Things like cancer and wars affect a lot of people directly or indirectly and for those people those things surely are of utmost importance.
