Firstly, lets start off here. What DO you know? HTML Javascript any of these? Don't let me confuse you, these aren't programming languages. |

Go with PHP first then. Or even python. Either one of those would be a good start. And I didn't mean to offend. Its just that there is so many people that say "I want to learn how to hack L!OL" and they think its just that easy. I just wanted to see where you were at. Nothing more. |

Eh? Those are all programming languages, except HTML is a static language and JS is a dynamic language. I'm pretty sure The Best wants to learn a Dynamic Language. PHP is a great place to start, mainly because Its alot like C which will help when you want to learn other languages. There are plenty of tutorials online, and you can always post here and ask for help. |

No its not. HTML is a markup language. And I guess you can consider javascript a programming language. But a really weak one lol..\ |

I would start HTML, and really get the grip on it. Once you've mastered HTML, start JavaScript. A good place to start learning HTML is at W3Schools. JavaScript is there also. Now, most people consider JavaScript not a programming language. They are correct, since it uses a browser language to execute. I think. If you want to learn a real programming language, learn C++ or C#. |

Please stop spamming and take the offensive text out of your sig like Oggi asked you before you get into more trouble than need be. And on topic, I would suggest starting out with HTML and XHTML and moving to javascript from there. |

If you want to do stuff for websites, go with HTML/XHTML/XML. From there, you can either learn JavaScript or PHP. I personally don't think it matters which one, but they are both useful languages. |

You new people need to chill, this isn't the place for you, leave if you can't respect the topic starter enough to nto start **** in their thread. Anyway, HTML, JS, PHP, those aren't programming languages. HTML is a markup lang., PHP and JS are both scripting languages. Just wanted to clarify although they are good to start, they aren't programming languages. I still suggest you start with PHP (and HTML) before you program, then I suggest you go into Python, then maybe Perl. |
