What's the point of coloring your name in the sig?

It's just like, StingerSplash85 for StingerSplash85

What's so big about that?

Nothing. Members seem to think it provokes staff into promoting the member.

Your name in red means they want you as admin, which is, ermm, odd. Lol.

Now, this is VERY offtopic. XD. Ross ish already mad ;__;

boring?

on that subject, what's with all the sig's like:

[ Juano For Juano ]

i mean, as if that's ever gonna happen. and if it did, well, what a shame.

point made

It's a shame that you condemn a promotion with such rudeness. It is not for you to decide the shame of, brought upon, or instituted as far as any of the promotions pertaining to the IFSZ are concerned.

As far as this debate is concerned, it is relevant for only one with authority to make judgement as to whether a topic should be left open for discussion or closed in general. In some cases, such "shout out" posts can be deemed as legitimate posts according to the nature, content, and structure contained within.

For example, a shout out post of the following:

Quote:

"W00T! 2,000 Posts! John is the greatest, and Kelly, you rock!"

That would most likely be deemed as spam; therefore being closed.

One more of,

Quote:

"I've reached 2,000 posts today. I'd like to thank the SZ for providing me with an opportunity to make friends, etc, etc...

John- You have been an inspiration to me; thank you.
Kelly- You're an amazing person who has really helped me with skinning..."

That is a reasonable post of mature discussion.

However, the final say, lies with those that have been embodied to make important board decisions that are not limited to the rights to close certain topics if deemed irrelevant.

What are you trying to do, baffle me with big words?

You've gone completely off topic, considering you quoted my post and babbled on about promotion.

I was simply making the point, that there isn't one in putting things like that in your signatures. Just makes you (the person at hand, not you in particular) look like a suck up, imo.
