Okay, this is probably a really n00bish questions, but here it goes. I have four songs from a local band but they are MPEG's and I can't put them onto my iPod in that format. Is there any way to convert them to MP3's so I can put them on my iPod? If so, how? Thanks. ^_^

Changing the file extension doesn't change the actual encoding. ;)

Well I can't get a version of any program that will completely convert the file without purchasing it, and I don't have any money to spare at the moment. If anyone can convert 3 songs for me, I'd really appreciate it.

Thats weird your iPod doesn't convert the MPEG file, normally, it converts them to ACC format. o.o'

When I go to drag the song into my iPod, I recieve this message :

Some of the songs in the iTunes music library, including the song "songname", were not copied to the iPod because they cannot be played on this iPod.
