An incredible article I read yesterday in National Geographic regarding Bionics. A very interesting read that I thought I would share. It's amazing how we can connect man to machine and the possibilities. What are your thoughts on this subject?

Hmm, I read the article in my magazine over christmas. The progression of bionics and how future developments could make it possible for a bionic arm to move like a normal arm is pretty fascinating. I think as long as the science isn't misused, it's pretty outstanding.

I think the advances are amazing, yet now I have in the back of my head a movement that surrounds something called the "Singularity." GQ had a feature in their January issue (but they didn't include that article in the website, so I can't link). It's worth the investigation, though. Essentially, it's a group of tech company heads who believe that technology will surpass humanity ultimately, either replacing us or as our next step in evolution.
